2003 freelander fuel pump - Freelander Land Rover Cars & Trucks

There are 2 fuel pumps , the primary pump is in the left rear corner of the engine bay (sitting in the drivers seat)there is a fuel filter in this bracket also.The injector pump is situated on the front of the engine block

on top of the fuel tank is the sending unit and pump assembly that un bolt along with a gasket.

normaly the fuel access door is under the rear seat or in the boot

From 53 reg onwards, diesel pump is under R.H. rear wheel arch, hidden by the plastic wheel arch liner. Older versions have combined fuel pump/sender in the tank (under R.H part of rear seat).
You should be able to hear a faint purr from the pump when ignition is turned on but engine not yet running.
