Question about 2004 Chevrolet Aveo LS
I had my car repsrayed inside and out,the left rear passenger door was assembled badly and apparently the latch from outside was broken,unbeknownst to me i switched the said door to child lock,and now i have a door that cannot be opened completely,is there a secret technique to have this door opened,i don't want to spend more monet since it was resprayed and the place that i got it was a friend and had the priced bargained,long story short,i want to get the door opened without spending more money,

most cars have a rod that gos from the handle to the latch. you need to get behind the door panel some how that is going to be hard with the door closed and pull the rod. your door should open most likely parts of the door panel will brake i am not sure what your door panel looks like but where the handle gos through the panel you might be able to get the rod through that hole but im not sure

child latch only does not allow door to be opened from inside and should open ok from outside. you must have a faulty lock. very hard to get it open now,try stripping door card off if possible with door closed.

It may be possible, if you have the rear seat out of the way. On some cars, it is possible, just a little tricky.
