Question about 2005 Kia Sorento
Took vehicle in for service and temp gauge came back in celsius, how do I change it back?
Don't listen to 'nitrousaura' (what a maroon, as Bugs would say).
Anyway, the way to change between Celsius and Fahrenheit is to hold down both the 'Temp down' and the 'Amb' buttons for 5 seconds. Be sure to do the 'Temp down,' not the 'Fan down' like I tried the first time and had to call Kia back. :) The two buttons are on opposite sides of the display.

You can switch the temperature mode between Fahrenheit to Celsius as follows:
While depressing the AUTO button, depress the OFF button for 3 seconds or more. The display will change from Fahrenheit to Celsius, or from Celsius to Fahrenheit."

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

If your temperature reads in climate control reads in degrees Celsius "C" instead of Fahrenheit "F", follow these steps to change to Fahrenheit.
The display should then change to "F". Follow these same steps to change your read-out to Celsius , if preferred.
