2003 Corolla won't start after checking fuses

My 2003 corolla's washer fluid pump wasn't working, so my husband was checking fuses. He pulled out a bunch of fuses and put them back in under the driver's side dash fuse panel. Now the car won't start.

Well something that a lot of people dont realize is that you cant check a fuse just by looking at it everytime. Sometimes you can look at it and clearly see the metal conductor inside is split. A lot of times the split on the metal conductor can be really small or it can be split under the plastic of the fuse, then you wont be able to see it. What you need to do is by a test light to test fuses. Leave them plugges into the car. hook the test light up to any ground. Start the car. Then touch the tip of the test light to each of the two exposed peices of metal at the top end of the fuse. Now if you touch one metal side of the fuse and the test light lights up then you touch the other side of it and the test light doesnt light up, then you have a bad fuse. If you touch both sides and the test light lights up on both then the fuse is good.

As far as the car not started, when your husband was pulling fuses randomly he probably popped the ignition fuse on the car, which gives the car the 12V of power so that it can start. What you do is check you owners manual or the back side of the fuse panel for the fuse layout/diagram. Find the fuse that says IGN and no need to test it if you dont want just replace it with a fuse of the same wattage and try to start the car. It should start right up. If it does look under your hood. There is another fuse box on the drivers side under your hook. Repeat the same steps I just told you for the other fuses. Find the one that says IGN and test it, if its bad replace it.

I have a 2003 Toyota corolla and my car won't

Same thing happened to me. Turned out to be a blown Alt fuse (under the hood behind the battery, you'll have to unbolt the whole fuse box though. That fuse is bolted in from underneath) and a blown am2 fuse (look underneath the dash of the driver side from inside the car). I switched those out and the car started right up

Windshield washer fluid not working, wipers seem to be fine, i was wondering if there were any troubleshooting things i should look for.

Can you hear the pump working when you try to wash? If no, check for voltage at the pump (usually located under the washer reservoir). If there is voltage but pump doesn't operate, replace pump. If no voltage, check fuse or problem is switch in steering column.

2003 Toyota Corolla wipers work but washer pump does not. Resevoir is full, where is the fuse to check before replacing the pump?

The fuse will be in the fusebox, you may have two fuseboxs on the car. One under Bonnet, one in car. The owners manual will tell you where it is.
