2001 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE CODES PO3OO PO304 P0305 P0306

MY 2001 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 6 CYLINDER. HAS BEEN GREAT. IT HAS 135,000 ON IT NEVER HAD ANY PROBS UNTIL 6 MONTHS AGO IT WOULDN'T START SO I HAD TO CHANGE THE CRANK SENSOR. SINCE THEN IT HAS BEEN RUNNING FINE EXCEPT THE LIGHT HAS BEEN ON FOR A COUPLE MONTHS SO I THOUGHT I WOULD INVESTIGATE. CODES P 0300, P 0304, P 0442, P 0305 AND P 0306. ALL OF THEM BUT THE 442 ONE INDICATING MULTIPLE CYLINDER MISS FIRE. SPECIFICALLY CYLINDERS 4, 5, AND 6. I THINK MY MPG MIGHT BE DOWN BUT OTHER THAT THAT I REALLY CANT TELL ANYTHING HAS BEEN WRONG, OTHER THAT THE LIGHT. BTW P 442 IS THE EVAP, HOPEFULLY JUST A GAS CAP, COULD THEY BE LINKED? OR ANY IDEAS WHY JUST 3 OF THE CYLINDERS N NOT ALL WOULD BE TRIGGERING THE C.E.L. WHILE STILL RUNNING FINE. WHAT COULD IT BE? WIRES, PLUGS, RAIL. COIL???

O2 sensors or crank sensor or cam sensor wires plugs coil iinjectors not the whole rail control modul or even on these jeeps i found it can be a bad computer or maybe you need a new wiring harness or one wire some where is broke takes time to fine but when you do and its fixed good job goodluck.

2001 grand Cherokee. Code P0300

po300 is a random misfire, a P0300 doesn't tell you specifically which cylinder(s) is/are mis-firing, nor why. If it was a po302 this means its #2 cylinder thats misfiring,ETC, But po300 could be any one of the cylinders. check plugs, wires, fuel injectors, Etc. Good-Day!

I have a 1996 crown vic i need to know these touble codes po305 po304

P0304 means that cylinder 4 has a misfire and P0305 is a cylinder 5 misfire. What this means is you may have bad spark plugs, or bad plug wires, or you may need to replace your distributor cap and rotor. I would start with plugs and wires.

I need to replace a spark plug and coil or maybe just the coil at cylinder 5 due to engine code P0305. How do i find where this is on my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2003? How do I approach this task since I never...

I will assume it is a 4.7L. The firing order is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2. The odd number cylinders are on the drivers side in order, 1,3,5,7. #5 cylinder is the 3erd on back from the front on the left side (drivers side). The coil is held down by 1 small nut and can be lifted out. Easy to do, you shouldn't have any problems. Hope this helps.
