On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Once the panel is off, you will see two or three bolts securing the mirror assembly onto the door

Support the vehicle on jack stands or equivelant...block, rock, etc, remove the tires that you'll be working on. There will be two allen bolts on the back side of the caliper; remove those without twisting off the rubber boot that's attached to them. once you have those out, grab the caliper and pull it toward you to compress the cylinder. You may have to take some fluid out of the brake fluid reservoir so it doesn't overflow when you do this. Once you have the caliper piston compressed, lift it up, remove the pads, and replace them with the new ones. Your rotors usually don't really need replacing unless they have deep grooves worn in them, or the brake pedal vibrates when you are braking. Once you have the new pads in, put everything back like it was before you started taking it apart, and you're done with that wheel.

SOURCE: fault code p0440 CHevy venture
I had that exact code a couple weeks ago. Mine needed new oxygen sensors. They(there are 2, only one was throwing a code, but I had both replaced) cost a little over $100 to have replaced.

Look online for the wiper module for this model. This is a common issue to include operation without the switch being activated. Everything is controlled by the module which screws directly on the front of the wiper motor by 3 torx head screws and measures about 4" x 4" and is very easy to install. The motor should be on the firewall. The modules run anywhere between $35 and 65. Let me know if you need anything else.
