The fuel filter in your 2004 Landrover Freelander is located inside the fuel pump module assembly. You must remove the fuel pump module from the vehicle and disassemble the fuel pump module to replace the filter. The fuel pump module is accessable by moving your rear seat and pulling the loadspace carpet back to get to the fuel pump access panel.

the heater core is a very troublesome job. You need to remove the shifter cover, center console, radio, a/c assembly and remove the entire dash. The heater core is located under the dash in the center of the cab. This is a pretty big job. My dealership charges 9.0hrs for this job. If you are planning on doing it the very best thing you can do is first to get a manual for the vehicle.
Have a 2005 Freelander and the battery died. When I re-charged the battery, the CD changer had a CD ERR 1 message. Could not eject or load a CD and the radio worked. I turned off the radio and pulled off the cover on top of the CD changer. I removed the two screws that hold the frame around the CD changer. I turned the CD back on and the CD went through a test on each CD. I know this solution might not work for everyone, but it worked for me
had this same problem on a few different model cars...what I had to do was remove the radio and get all the numbers off of the unit...then call the dealer and they can get you the code...hope this helps
There is no way but to short the wires at the tail door switch outside which should only be done if you have a circuit diagram and experience on the vehicles electrical systems or you could damage components beyond repair.Make sure the fuse is not blown.
