Question about 1998 Ford Ranger SuperCab
I just bought a '98 Ford Ranger SuperCab.The right fan direction switch doesn't blow air in modes other than htr/defrost. Otherwise it works OK. I took the glove box out and observed that the door to the blower fan doesn't work. It appears to work on a vacuum system. The AC works, but only comes out htr/defrost vents. I have a diagram of the system from work. I work for Ford as a independent parts delivery dirver and can't get a tech to look at it. Not sure if it's an electrical or mechanical problem. Please help.
It is neither it is a simpull vacuum line leak most are arony the front bumper 4x4 moduel

Check the vacuum on the control unit, or you can also check the cable that controls the direction doors. hope this helps
