you will need to unbolt bumper cover and pull out on side light is being replaced, doesnt have to come of completely but needs to pull back to get light out, remove the bolts from the top hold light asm, in, then remove top cross plate that holds hood latch and put to the side, then remove bolts and clips holding bumper cover and pull cover foward until you have room to pull light out, then remove the bulb from the rear, this bulbs are 90 degree plug type not the straight one, they dont fit, hope this helps, not bad to do, just sounds so.
you should have an h7 bulb, once to take the rubber grommet behind the headlight, you will see the h7 socket, which has to wires in it, gently pull thi socket off, then there is a small wire holding the bulb in place, gently unhook the wire from the one side. and turn it to the other side and the bulb shoudl come out... replace the bulb putting it in the same way the other bulb came out.. notice the h7 bulb has a small notch on one side. it has to go in the same way or the wire will not hook back on. once it has been placed, turn the wire over the base of the bulb and hook it again, then put the socket back on the bulb and put the grommet back on the headlight.
SIDE LIGHTS COME OUT 2 WAYS. IF YOUR SIDE LIGHTS LENS OR COVER HAS SCREWS YOU HAVE TO REMOVE 2 SCREWS THAT HOLDS LENS OR COVER INPLACE TO REMOVE SIDE LIGHT BULB.SOME SIDE LIGHTS YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE LIGHT BULB FROM INSIDE THE FENDERWELL.
Very difficult. You have to open the inside access door on the drivers side, remove the amp and wheel well cover, pinch the tabs and the bulb cluster will release. The taillight assembly is bolted from inside of the car, so it can't be done outside.
