Location of automatic transmission drain plug on a 2008 Mazda Tribute

If there is a drain plug, it will be on the bottom transmission pan. If no drain plug, the transmission is drained by loosening the pan bolts and lowering one end of the pan till most is drained. Then remove the pan.

Where is the drain to the radiator in order to flush

Don't bother with the drain plug. Many vehicles don't have one, and even if it did, they often strip out or break when attempting to loosen them. Leave it alone. Best, and fastest way to drain the rad is to simply loosen the lower rad hose clamp, and pull off the hose.
Ask me how I know. A stripped out drain plug is one way to completely ruin your day.

How do i change the transmission fluid?

On some models there is a drain plug like that on the oil pan.But on some models they have no drain plug so what you have to do is loosen the bolts so that the oil drains out the corner of the transmission pan.You want to be careful that you don't loosen up the bolts to much at one time so that you don't wear the trans fluid.Depending on the vehicle there should be a drain plug on the bottom of the transmission.

Can't find the drain plug on transmission of 87

most trannis don't have a drain plug. I don't know if this does or not but if it doesn't this is what you do. Slightly loosen bolts starting from on corner. Don't go in a circle, start at a corner and loosen one on one side then another on the next. I said loosen not remove. Do this all the way around, then at the corner you started at, loosen a little more doing the same process. Might have to pry pan down a little to break the gasket seal so fluid can start draining. Keep doing this in small steps till pan is all the way off. Doing this in slow steps will empty the pan and will be no mess.

Cant find drain plug on radiator for 2000 ford expedition

The radiator drain plug is on passenger side of the radiator tank at the bottom. You can use pliers to loosen it. Be careful that it does NOT come out, only loosen it enough to drain the anti freeze.

Where is the drain plug on the radiator buick regal 2000

Many newer automobile no longer have a Radiator Drain ****. If you do have one it will be located near the bottom of one of the Radiator Tanks in the "Most Inaccessible place imaginable". All you need to do is loosen the Hose Clamp on the Lower Radiator Hose and work the Hose free to drain the system. Be careful not to damage the Plastic Radiator Tank in the process of loosening the Hose.

Where is drain plug for 1998 dakota 4x4 i need to drain radiator &what is the turning thing on the lower drivers side of radiator 4

1998 dakota 4x4
You can remove the drain plug in the bottom on the radiator.
You can remove the lower radiator hose. Since the vehicle is 10 years old you may want to inspect the hoses for replacement anyway.

) Make sure the vehicle is cool.
) Slightly loosen the radiator cap to release any pressure.
) Re-tighten the radiator cap.
) Place a suitable container under the drain point.
) open the drain.
) Re-loosen the radiator cap again.
) Allow to drain.
* At this point the radiator can be fill with water and a radiator cleaning agent- run the engine - allow to warm up.
* Re-drain the radiator - .
) Refill the radiator with water/anti-freeze.
) Dispose of waste fluid according to the local regulations. Some city dumps will accept it. Some parts stores may accept it. Do not pour down the drain or dump on the ground.

It doesn't have a drain plug. Yes the square plug is the fill plug. You have to remove the cover to drain it. To remove the fill plug try an open end wrench with a pipe over the end of it.

Drain plug for 1998 Ford Explorer auto transmission 4x4

It does not have a drain plug. You have to loosen the bolts that hold the drain pan and let the fluid drain out that way.

How do I change the rear diff. oil?

Drive the vehicle for about 1 minute to warm up the fluid a little.
Locate the 'pumpkin' on the rear axle. It is in the center of the axle.
Now locate the two caps. The upper cap is for filling, the lower for draining.
FIRST - loosen & remove the upper cap...just in case.
Second, place a oil pan below the drain plug...loosen and replace the drain plug. Allow to drain for 10 minutes.
Install drain plug, tighten to spec. (snug)
Add proper amount of fluid in top filler hole. You WILL need a hand pump or other device as this is impossible to do using the gallon jug of VTM4.
