If you are in a town where there is an Auto Zone or an
O'Reilly's, you can ask them to print you out the view that you are needing. Or you might try to get it from the place where you originally bought the new belt at.
I know from personal experience that Auto Zone is good about printing you out the view.

Hi can u pls assist me with the timing marks for this car chevy aveo 1.5 engine 8 valve 2006 model hatch back pls urgently & also head bolts torque setting

Your timing marks should be on the belt. There are two single lines and one double line across the surface of the belt. Each of the single lines line up with the cam shaft and the balance shaft drive gears. The double line lines up with the crank gear. If I remember right, there is a small mark on the oil pump housing that the crank mark lines up with and the cam mark is straight up and there are 2 other marks on the cam gear that line up with the head.

Ive been trying to set the timing on a 95' volvo 850. first replaced water pump 2 days before. finances kept me from replaceing any addition componants at that time. now im paying for it. the belt broke....

It is possible to set the timing wrong....if the belt broke well running I believe this is an interference motor..meaning if the timing is off the cylinder can move up and smack a Valve being exhaust or intake. which means a valve can break or bend cause lack of seal thus no compression. When setting the timing you want to align your marks with Cylinder # 1 it needs to be on the compression stroke..you can do this by removing cyl 1 spark plug and rotating the crankshaft with your finger over the spark plug hole you will feel air press against your finger meaning all valves are closed and your in compression stroke. Then line up your marks and you should have it...I would consider purchasing a compression tester to make sure no damage to the cylinder head....good luck hope this helps

How to set timing when you relesh tensioner and it changes the alignment postion of pullies 2000 ford ranger 2.5 l

Here is the trick. Align marks. Put the timing belt on the crank shaft pulley first, and after on the overhead cam pulley. Release tensioner and rotate the crank shaft till the timing belt makes two full circles. Try to align marks, you will be at least one tooth off. Align the crank shaft on the mark, and find out how many teeth you are off at the cam shaft pulley. Count the teeth. Remove the timing belt from cam shaft pulley only. Move cam shaft pulley in reverse according to the number of teeth you counted. Make sure the crank shaft pulley is on the mark. Mount the belt at cam shaft pulley.Rotate the belt two circles and check the marks. Repeate this procedure til after releasing the tensioner, and rotating the timing belt two full circles, the mars will be align.

Need diagram or spec to set cam position

if you look at the back edge of the camshafts you will see a slot, this slot is off center on the shaft end, you are supposed to use a special tool and turn each shaft to where that slot is flat across the cylinder head, then insert the tool (flat piece of steel) into the slots, the tool hold the cams in place while you reset and put on the belt. You can find this diagram in any Haynes or Chilton manual, availiable at your local parts store, autozone should be able to print it out for you from AllData for free, hope this helps, let me know

1995 ford contour lifter noise

If it had any head work done such as valve grinding. there could be a valve a tad shorter and may
result in a noise until the engine warms up. That is what i hear the problem is with mine. There
was no noise before i had the head work done.
