Maybe the pulleys are worn out before the belt or never
replaced with the belt or tensioners are hung up or week

If it sounds like anything ---explore--don't keep using it

SOURCE: I HAVE A 2004 TOYOTA CAMRY. I HEAR A ROARING NOISE

sounds to me like its a cv joint. if the rubber boot gets damaged in any way, dirt gets in there and really does some damage. check the boot really good. if you dont see any holes or anything it might just be the wheel bearing. id take it to a mechanic and ask him to just look at it. usually they wont charge ya.

SOURCE: i have a roaring noise under the hood of my 06 chevy Z71

Have you looked at the Universal joint(s)? If it is 4-wd I'd inspect the front driveshafts as well - Other than that, I'd also inspect the brakes to ensure that the shoes were being held down properly and that the Universal joint is not worn - It sounds alot like either the U-joint or a brake problem - Have you inspected the rear end? Do you use the truck to pull anything? If you'll look at the U-joint and Brakes - If not, there are carrier bearings inside the rear end that may be the culprit as well, but I'd leave them for last as inspection is a bit involved -

Could be wheel bearing. Make sure your tire isn't rubbing anything. Make sure you haven't blown any of the steel belts in your tire. Typically if it was your bearing it would have slowly gotten louder, not just all of a sudden unless you hit something. Good luck
