Having trouble removing fuel filter on 2002 Kia sportage we have already changed IAC and did not solve our problem hard to start on cold start

None of this have anything to do with cold start . If plugged fuel filter it would be a problem hot or cold , IAC problem would cause an erratic idle . You need to have your vehicle hooked up to a scan tool that reads sensor data ! 96 Toyota 4Runner sputters when starting when hot only!

how about the fuel filter. I didn't see this on your list and it should be done every 20000km and the air filter. I think its a fuel filter. not the pump. could be the coils but I would start cheap and change fuel filter first. when the pump is cold it pumps with more psi to blow passed the clooged filter after warm it is weaker and has a hard time pushing through the clog

WELL I WAS GOING TO SAY REPLACE FUEL FILTER, CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS BY ADDING A CAN SEAFOAM TO 3/4 TO FULL TANK OF GAS.REPLACE SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES. DO A LITTLE TUNE UP SEE IF HELP COLD START CONDITIONS. IF CAR STILL TAKES A LONG TIME TO CRANK. FUEL PUMP FAILING THE CHECK VALVE IN FUEL PUMP IS ALLOWING ALL FUEL LEAK BACK IN THE FUEL TANK.

My car takes 2 tries to start.usually for me if I step on the gas before turning the ignition it will start.but i think Im over flooding the system by doing that.what do I need to check the pumpfilter or...

local libraries usually have haynes manuals to tell you what's where.my fuel pump is attached under the back seat on top of the tank.you should never pump the gas starting fuel injected cars since they came out.however,if your fuel pump was bad,it probably would not start.try air filter and gas filter.if those are fine try vacuum lines.

Ford F250 turbo diesel cut out and died as left house this morning, cold morning. Will not start, not even a cough. Have new fuel filters, need location of the filters, anything else I should check?

if you have the 6.0 then the filters are located on top on the motor right beside your oil filter and under the drivers side on the fuel pump, check to see if you have diesel in your bowl where the fuel filter is, no diesel in there your fuel pump might be dead, check fuses to fuel pump and check relay on the passengers side kicker panel, check your owners manual
