Question about BMW Cars & Trucks
Blue smoke until warm
That means its burning oil valve seals are going bad that a repair shop work buddy. but some one told me put some brake fluid in the oil let it run for half hour then drain the oil and fill it up with new oil. it will get few days before it gets better. (not recommended)

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

do you have a ski hatch in middle of back seat ? if not then allegedly you "make" one and reach through with an improvised tool to release the boot catch from inside !!!!!!
look on t' bright side . your boot is next best thing to a safe on wheels.

you definitley seem to be getting oil in your combustiion chamber, pull your spark plugs and see if they are coverd in oil. if so your valve seals are bad, if not your piston rings are bad. As far as the kncking noise its hard to tell though a description, id have to hear it, but ill go out on a limb and say its in relation to the leak it could be a piston or valve knock. The garage heard the noise, ididnt so i hope i could help.
