at the right side of the vehicle under the battery there is the starter bolted by three screws you need to get under the vehicle to loose the screws use a 14mm socket and wrench to get the bolt loose it takes a bit of maneuvering to get it out of the tight space but it is possible and simply reverse to get the new one in remember to disconnect the battery and the lines to the starter before starting to work

Pull a spark plug wire off the plug and put a screw driver In The plug end of the wire. Hold the screw driver near anything metalic on the engine. Have someone crank the engine if the screw drive arcs to the metal then you have spark

check both the fluid level in your gearbox .and check for worn linkages.

is the starter new?

Yes it will. just use the engine wire harness from the manual trans

yep a bad relay will cause fuel pump problems.

Theres a solenoid on the starter to engage the starter onto the flywheel. The solenoid could be going out.
