Where is the oil pressure sensor on a 1995 Chevy Truck? V-8, 5.7 L. I have the new one, just can't find the one I need to replace.


If you go to a parts store, I prefer CARQUEST, they will gladly print up a schematic or just show you where it is if that is all you need.

When don't my c1500 3.7 liter v6 run after I put it in time by the book but when I put the top sprocket 180 out it does


that is obviously the correct way , you must have had the engine 180 degrees out when you started , did you not lock down the cams etc ?

not sure what you mean . there is one bolted to block other end to frame thats the ground .the power possitve on the battery goes to the solinoid on top of starter. sorry spelling .

What are the torque specs for the Main Bearing Cap bolts on a 1990 CHEVROLET TRUCK C1500 5.7l 350


main caps 85 ftlbs (3divdedsetings30ftlbs all 50 ftlbs all ending at85ftlbs click, rocaps 45ftlbs, head bolts 85ftlbs workingfrom cdenter top ,center botom ,top center working clock wizeand out ,intake boltes45ftlbs again fromcenter working outleft side, right side,left, right 8 bolts one time only or u will distort gasket. oilpan from center alternate L side ,R side,clock wize25ftlbsclick recheck after breakin period valve covers 25ftlbs anrecheck flywheel 90ftlbs ,harmnic balancer bolt 75ftlbs, add oil!!!!run for 15 minutes drain oil &change filter run for 100miles for molly rings 10 mmiles for cast rings .let engine cool down retorque headbolts,replace valve covers .run it and get on it!!! good luck hve fun.

The inner holes, the inner tierod ends go into the outer holes.

1989 Chevrolet C1500 with 5.7L V-8. Engine dies


don't know for sure but my 98 had simmilar problems and it ended up being the ignition switch,not the key switch but the actual ign switch.worth a try.

Knock sensor for 1997 chevy C1500 Pickup Truck


Located on right hand side of block (pass side). It is between motor mount and starter.
