Backup lights burned out in a 2001 ford suv/exployer expedition limited

Check your glove compartment manual first, if u have one, it might contain the info u are looking for, then just try googling "how to replace backup lights on your make and model". I also find that the best place to get that help free is to go to a Napa auto or , I like orileys auto parts, go in and get your bulbs and they usually will go out and help u do it on the spot. That' the best way to get lots of free advice and help with minor auto issues.

I have a 2001 Ford Exployer. The steering wheel pinches the turn signal wire.

Special tools are necessary to take off the steering wheel and the lock plate underneath it. Have it repaired by a mechanic that possesses those tools.

My 93 ford exployer keeps blowing fuses in regards to my turning signal lights. why

You have a "hot" wire somewhere which is grounding on the body. Look at the wiring for a place where the insulation is missing (usually from rubbing against the engine or body).

I need to know which wires go to what plugs on a 2001 ford exployer

the coil signal wires are in a loom and follow a staight line. start from the back and plug in. when you get to the front there should be no wire connecters left. these connecters are the only ons that will plug into the coil packs. coil pack placement does not matter.

sounds like an alarm system that has the horn disconnected,so when you start the vehicle it trips the alarm then resets itself after awhile .see if there is an aftermarket Alarm system under the dash and remove it!

1999 Ford OHV Exployer skips and misfire even with tune-up

pull the exhaust off and see if it runs better, if it does it needs catylitic converters- could also have bad fuel injectors.

I do not have the inside light in a 1997 exployer

Check fuses, bulb, also there may be a switch to turn off the dome light when the door opens.
