FROM WHAT I JUST HEARD ON THE VIDEO ,IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR ENGINE NEEDS TO BE TUNED-UP . IF THE ENGINE IS NOT PROPERLY TUNED THE TRANSMISSION WILL NOT WORK AS ITS SHOULD .THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION WORK INSINK WITH EACH OTHER ,SO HAVE THE ENGINE EVALUATED BEFORE CONDEMMING THE TRANSMISSION .THEN PROCEED TO TEST THE TRANSMISSION .EG, STALL TESTING AND SHIFTING PATTERN .

SOURCE: 2001 Accent stick shift sputters in low gears and at high speed.

I suspect the timing is off since timing belt replacement was mentioned. The altitude would be read by the various sensors in the engine and computer and would be compensated accordingly.

SOURCE: 2005 CRV sputters when it

Too many possibilities to hazard a guess; stop in at one of the auto parts chains and request a free scan of your ECU. It may solve the mystery fast.

Since that's a Hyandai I would say with their 10 yr 100,000 mi war, let them deal w it. I did & I'm an A1 auto tech. They lived up to trans an engine problems. make sure u have the right amt of trans fluid in it.

I have a 2007 Hyandai Accent it stays in second gear auto zone said it needed the pressure control solenoid we changed it and it didn't fix it. Could it be the transmission control module? Thanks

NEVER! listen to Autozone, they are not trained technicians and should never give out advice like this. Have a local transmission repair shop drive the car and see what they think, in most cases they will not charge for this

When i shift into third the gears grind.. why?

sounds like the syncromesh has gone in the gearbox. If you dont want them to grind, you,ll have to double declutch. I f you cant do this, get a new gearbox.
