Try changing your oil and air filter and maybe even your spark plugs.

If your car isn't rated for E85, possibly. Probably would throw 02 codes. E85 burns leaner than gas..So it would throw off the 02 reading.

09 impala accelerator pedal sensor?


the pedal sensor is part of the gas peda assembly. The whole thing needs to be replaced if there is a problem with the sensor.

02 impala sputters


Do you have the 3.4 or 3.8? If its the 3.4, they had issues with the fuel pressure regulators getting funky. I had to replace one on mine twice before the car had 150K.

My chevy impala smells like the radiator liquid is burning and the check engine light came i put coolant in there and the check engine light went off but it came back on. it seems to be leaking coolant but...


Check the front passenger side carpet and make sure it is dry. If it is wet, the heater core up under the dash is leaking, which is why you smell it in the cab.

try doing a standard tune up. change fuel filter, plugs, wires, and 02 sensors to start.
