Question about Cars & Trucks
My fan stopped workin on my car i was told it was the rhestat but dont know wher it goes to on my car can anyone help me please
We need to know what car you are driving. If it is a Ford product, just follow the wires from the heater fan motor under the hood to a small plug-in part sticking out of the metal Firewall or ductwork.
On Ford made products this is a 2 bolt mounted part with a wiring harness plugged in. Sometimes replacement is not necessary, just tap the part with a broom handle and it will reset. The part is expensive and no rhyme or reason for failure. A new part can do exactly the same thing.
Please rate my solution.

SOURCE: flash signal
To my knowledge the turn signal flasher for a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero is part of the Hazard Flashing switch. It is actually a 4 way flasher unit in one assembly.
Additionally, there was a recall order for 1999-2002 Alero models due to electrical issues which includes signal lights. You can try calling Oldsmobile at 1-800-630-6537. The Ref. No. is 04098A issued Jan. 11, 2006. Accordingly, the repairs will be made at no charge to the customer. The special policy covers warranty repair (for such problems) for a period of 10 years or 150,000 miles (240,000 km), whichever occurs first.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
