Layout of 350 engine , I changed my timing chain and need little help with putting all parts back on right with the right bolts, washers, etc on my 1980 chevy blazer small blocl

You really need the OEM shop manual - good luck finding one, but if you have the engine code, you may get help Googling it. Pros always mark each item they remove so that they know where it goes on reassembly.

JCB 214 series 3 will not move in forward or reverse

The problem is serious and needs a factory trained technician to trace the problem with test equipment that you do not have.

1987 toyota 22re. head was taken off by siomeone who did not mark or align anything. I need to know how to get it on the compression stroke.

With the head off, the bottom end doesn't know compression from exhaust from squat. The crank just keeps pushing the pistons up and down. You set the #1 cylinder at the top of travel, the mark on the pointer scale must be at zero, then when you have the head on with the camshaft sprocket on its mark, and the timing belt or chain on, you should be at TDC on the compression stroke. To verify, both valves on #1 should be closed-the camshaft lobes for #1 should be more or less pointing up-away from the valves.
See? The valve train is what determines compression stroke vs. exhaust stroke. On compression, both valves are closed. On the exhaust stroke, the exhaust valve will be open. As long as you get the camshaft sprocket on the right mark and the crank sprocket at zero-or on its mark-the timing should be right.

Distributor cap and spark plug leads order/layout?

The firing order is 1342. The cylinders are numbered from left to right 1234. Depending on wether it is a 16 valve engine, the distributor cap lead number one position is at the front on the left, if its a normal 8 valve engine , the distributor cap lead number one is at the front pointing straight at the front. So, moving anti clockwise, the next lead will be number 3, then 4 , then 2.

I want to change a head gasket for 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer but i dont know how

Ok get ready for a real headache. To change that head gasket you will have to have a lift, some special tools and about 20 hours( for a trained mechanic). It involves removing the rack and pinion steering, oil pan, all of the parts off of the front of the engine, and timing cover. Then the fun begins. That engine has no timing marks on the outside of the engine. You will have to pull the exaust, and intake manifolds, valve cover and coils. Roll the motor by hand till you get all the timing marks lined up han then you can remove the head. If you are not a trained mechanic, you are really getting a tough one to start on. You will need a manuel on all the specs, Good Luck
