Question about Cars & Trucks
Mechanic just replaced fuel pump and he say he replaced the filter 2 weeks ago no having the same problem again. the car will turn over act as though it will crank and want then it cranked switched it of and now it want crank as though its not getting gas
If you mean it started, ran until warm, shut it off, then it wouldnt start again, i had the exact same problem on a 2000 pontiac montana, i replaced the fuel filter, thought of the security system, then i found out 3 of the 6 cyls were misfiring. spark plugs and wires were replaced and that fixed it. get it diagnosed and see if any of your cylinders are misfiring because it could be causing the problem. and when i said i had the same problem, i mean it was word for word (minus replacing fuel pump) the exact same symptoms.

turning left and stalling sounds like your power steering pressure switch is bad.as for other problem try unlocking drivers door using the key this should reset the factory alarm. also make sure you didn't miss a wire when reconnecting bat. look for 12gauge red wire near bat. this goes to computer if not connected car will crank but not start.

Tune ups are always a good place to start , including air, fuel, plugs and for the extra 5 bucks a PCV valve. If these havn't been done in the last year at least might want to start there. If that doesnt make any difference please post again and we will look at something else!

the fuel pump is in the gas tank. you can replace just the pump once you get the unit out. be carefull not to bend the sending unit when getting it out or back in
