Why is my filler bottle on my vw transporter 2006 diesel emptying after around 2 days?

It does put out smoke but dont think it's white. Does it at higher revs and change of gears. I dont see any leaks, but when i stop i do see a water patch on the ground under the filler bottle but i thought that is normal after a trip.

How do i refill and bleed the cooling system on vw T4 5 cyl petrol transporter van

Try this. SomeEuropean cars need to be "burped" when refilling the coolant system to remove air.

Raise the front ( particularly engine/radiator) part of the car to above level ( not sure of the height but would guess 6-8 inches would do) to allow the air trapped in the heater core and engine block to rise and release through the radiator filler as you are filling.

It would help to look for instructions or a you tube to verify the procedure,

Hope this helps

How do I access the screen wash bottle on Honda CRV 2006 diesel

I don't know where the washer bottle is on this model, friend, but the modern trend is to fit them low down with an extended spout especially if it is a large capacity bottle. They are often fitted in the space under the forward part of the front wing, mudguard or fender and following the direction of the filler spout should give a strong clue to the location. Access usually means moving plastic parts out of the way; such as the wing liner and any undertray or parts of an undertray.
Especially in winter when plastic is very difficult to work with it is better to completely remove any plastic parts but be aware some or all of any plastic retainers are likely to break during removal. Better access to the wing liner would be achieved by raising the car taking proper safety precautions and removing the front wheel.

I hope this helps.

How do you change the fuel sending unit on a 2003 duramax diesel

2 ways this can be done 1 lift the bed of the truck offso you can get to the top of the tank where the sender is located ( 8 bolts 4 on each side, three 9/32 screw aound filler neck and 1 or 2 plugs for tail lamps. Th other option is to drop the tank down by removing filler neck hose from tank and 2 straps held in with 15 mm bolts , It would also be helpful if the tank is as empty as possible...good luck

Procedure to prime vw 1.9 l diesel fuel pump

I think the 1.9 are the same pump as the 1.6. Take the "out" line off-this should be a 17mm banjo fitting on the top of the pump, get a very small funnel and a empty AND DRY water bottle, fill it with diesel, and pour into the hole until it starts running out, them reinstall the banjo fitting. After that, I usually crack all the fuel lines at the injectors using the 17mm wrench, crank the engine until you get fuel at the injectors, retighten lines. If there are no other problems with car, it should fire up.

Hi I drive a 2006 Vw Transporter 2.8 TDI, the glow plug light

You've probably solved this by now, but just in case... it's your particulates filter clogging up and needs 'regeneration' by VW techs. They take it on the road and with the aid of a laptop on the pax seat, inject fuel into particulates filter and 'burn it out' it'll cost you 200 quid at a vw dealer.

Diesal gas in the tank

You must drain all the diesel fuel out of the tank and purge the fuel lines as well or it will not start.
