Question about Cars & Trucks
I just would like to know what i most likely would be charged for wiper transmission linkage installation, already have the piece i would like to know an estimation on the labor
This really depends on the kind of car. shouldnt be too hard as the whole wiper system consists of under 10 parts. 1 electrical motor (easy to replace) and very simple linkage, all of which should be pretty easily accessable. so depending on the labor cost per hour, it should probably be around $100

hey you can unbolt them indiviually and tighten them in any position..but to remove open hood see the plastic cover bottom of windshield remove it ...basic hand tools... but to mess with the motor and the moving arm underneath you may have to pull the dash its hard takes several housrs..

Ask for a breakdown for parts and labor separate. Then get another quote from another reputable shop in your area... compare notes..

Typically the Silhouette and the Transport are the same vehicle. I spent about 45 minutes to replace the Alternator on my former Transport. It depends upon the prevailing Labor Rate what you will have to pay. I would guess somewhere around $75-$200 fro Labor alone.
