You can do one of two things in this situation: 1) get it replaced. 2) use the tripometer to keep track of how far youve gone. youll have to top off the tank and reset the tripometer every trip to the gas station to make sure you dont run out. also you should know how far you can go on a full tank and dont get too close to that number or you may run out
