basically it means the 02 sensor on bank 2 detected a lean condition. on v-6/ v-8/ v-10 is usually the side of the engine that does not have cylinder #1. In the vast majority of cases, simply cleaning the MAF sensor does the trick. also check vacuum lines. you can buy maf sensor cleaner at mostly all auto parts stores. just follow directions on can. check the maf sensor first.

I had the same problem with my 1999 Silverado which would blink several times on the mode I selected then go back to the 2 wheel High. I found the switch module to be defective, after replacing it I have never had the problem again.

P0147 Heater circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 3
P0452 Evap spressure system low.
P1345 This is the main problem your solution is a whole new distributor,dont bother trying to retartd or advance the timing it wont start and if you do get it to start it will just sputter, you going to have to remove the camshaft and install a new one.

DTC P0147 - 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 3)
O2 (Oxygen) sensors contain a heating element that allows the sensor to reach operating temperature quickly. This lowers emissions since it allows the engine to reach closed loop faster and also allows the engine to stay in closed loop at idle. The heater circuit is supplied a 12 V battery feed from the PCM or ignition circuit (depending on model) and a ground. The PCM (powertrain control module) monitors how long it takes for the sensors to become active after engine start-up. If it takes too long for the o2 sensors to reach operating temperature, this P0147 can set.

For this particular o2 sensor, there may be no noticeable symptoms other than:
MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) illumination
Poor/ rough idle

Potential causes of an P0147 code include:
Bad o2 sensor heater circuit
Bad o2 sensor
Wiring harness problems

Possible Solutions:
Unplug the Bank 1, 3 sensor. With KOEO (key on engine off) use a voltmeter to check for battery voltage present at the o2 sensor connector (PCM side). (You can also do this with a test light. Connect to ground and touch lead to heater circuit supply. Light should illuminate with KOEO) You should have battery voltage present.

a. If voltage is present, check the ground side of the heater element also making sure a good ground is present. If it is, check for any faulty connections & then replace the o2 sensor. If you don't have a good ground, then there is an open in the ground circuit somewhere that will need to be repaired. Look for wiring harness contact with exhaust components or broken/missing connectors, etc.
b. If battery voltage isn't present with KOEO, check for a blown fuse supplying the heater elements. You may need to get a wiring diagram for this. If the fuse is blown, you'll need to check for a short to ground on the battery supply circuit before replacing the fuse. If you find none, and replacing the fuse re-establishes battery voltage at the o2 sensor connector, then the o2 sensor may have shorted internally, blowing the fuse. Replace it & recheck. (NOTE: it's possible for an o2 sensor's heater circuit to be open/shorted and the o2 sensor to still function).
c. If you have no battery voltage present with KOEO and there are no blown fuses supplying the heater circuit, then check for an open on the supply circuit. You can do this by ohming the circuit with the o2 sensor unplugged and the PCM unplugged. Repair and recheck.

Replaced:plugs,wiresdistributor,fuel pump.truck wouldn't start before but now it starts but i am getting po135,po141,po147.po300 codes


P0135 means 0xygen heater circuit malfunction, P0141 mean 02 heater circuit bank1 sensor 2 (this is catalytic monitor) P0147 means 02 heater sensor circuit bank 1 sensor 3, P0300 is random misfire. You will get all the 02 code because of the misfire correct the misfire and the 02 should correct.We will start with the plug wire and make sure the firing order is correct 1996 chevy blazer that will make it a 4.3 engine size check the firing order firing order is 165432 also check the coil (it has a tendency to short you will know if it is) cansmo_181.gifcansmo_182.gifmake sure the distributor rotation is check

Specifically sensor 3 bank 1 oxygen sensor 2000 GMC Jimmy 4.3L v-6 4wd


Skolruby, There are four different codes for bank1 sensor3 as i think you may have written it backwards. It goes as follows, code po143 ho2s circuit low voltage bank 1 sensor 3 po144 ho2s high voltage bank1 sensor 3 po146 ho2s circuit insufficient activity bank 1 sensor 3 po147 ho2s heater performance bank 1 sensor 3. If you are getting code 44 lean exhaust. or 45 rich exhaust, It will show up on an emmisions test witthout the check engine light on and fail. If you get code 45 you might have a csefi fuel meter leak, A common problem with this engine. It is hard to detect unless you dissesemble it and see raw gas by the plastic injector tubes. I have the same year and model jimmy. It took days on a diagnostic machine to shake it out, What a pain. good luck.
