I have a 1996 3.8 liter camaro. I was driving my car down the road when the gages started jumping and i found out that problem it was the battery and aldernater well after i changed them problems i have...

Hmmm, a puzzle.

The only way to disarm these alarms is with
the factory remote or turning on the ignition.
To turn off the factory alarm.

Ok, do you have the remotes?
If so, let's ID the system.
Go to www.KEYLESSRIDE.com & use th fcc #s
on the back of it.

If not try this:

Programming Factory Security on GM Cars and Trucks
Instructions for programming the GM factory security systems that do NOT
disarm from the driver's door key cylinder. This programming is for the
cars and trucks listed below.

96+ Camaro
96+ Firebird
99+ GM Trucks
99+ GM Sport Utility Vehicles

Step #1 Turn the ignition on then off.

Step #2 Remove the radio fuse only (not the fuse that says acc/radio).

Step #3 Turn the key to the accessory position. When you do this you
will get two chirps from the door buzzer. Should you hear only
one chirp, your vehicle does not have factory security and these
instructions do not apply. You need to hear two chirps.

Step #4 Press the unlock switch on the door. This will give 1-4 chirps
depending on the program step. Continue pressing the unlock
switch until you get to the desired chirp setting.
1 Chirp - Security off
2 Chirps - Remote Only
3 Chirps - Factory Setting
4 Chirps - Passive Arming

Step #5 Turn the ignition off.

Step #6 Put radio fuse back in.

Hi, my car is 02 Buick Regal. The automatic window on the passenger side does not work. I want to know how to disassemble the door and to fix the problem. Many thanks.

Hello: The auto down part of the system is in the switch if the window goes up and down when you hold the switch there is no need to remove the door panel. To replace the switch you just need to remove the switch plate, take a 6 in straight screw driver put something under it to protect the panel, push in and slightly down to release the clip and pry up.

I need to know were the compter board that reads engine mileage located on the dodge imtrepid se 2004

It's part of the transmission control module, bolts up to the side of transmission, with a harness with about 10 or 12 pins, if it's remove it will have to be relearn, for transmission to work again.

Hello. ok i have a 2005 dodge stratus and my friends took out the spark plug and stuck something medal in it and now it wont start. everthing turns on and all lights and everthing it just wont turn over??

Hello mikey_anaya: My name is Roger and I will try to help. If your Friend took out a spark plug and put a foreign object inside the cylinder? That person did you no favors. When the piston came up to top dead center. The object could not be compressed and would have locked up the engine. This would not only damage the piston but also damage the cylinder head. You will need a mechanic who can remove the object and check for damage. You might passably find a mechanic who has a bore scope. This will allow him or her to look at the object inside the motor. They might be able to remove the object from the cylinder if they can reach it with a magnet. If this can not be done the engine will need to be torn down and checked for damage. Like I said it will not be cheap. Sorry I could not give you a simple solution. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer you received. This way I know it was useful. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

How do I take out and old battery on a 2002 saturn L200? There's some kind of clamp at the bottom holding it on. I'm guessing I'm missing something obvious.

use a 12" extention with a 13mm socket on a 3/8 drive rachet to remove the black wedge block that is holding it down. you can see it is you look down the front of the battery.

Battery dead after a couple of days

Hello you can remove the possitive battery cable and hook one end of a test light to the cable end then the other end to the battery. If the light comes on then there is somthing drawing voltage and make sure everything is off when doing this test .Now to narrow down where it is drawing from . Start removing fusses from the fuse box one at a time and puting back in watching the test light when the light goes off you know where the problem is .
