Ihave a 06 ford f350 6.0 i changed the fuel filter (paper drop in filter) put all back together it wont run or try to start i broke the black plastic peice inside the fuel bowl i replaced it still got...

All I can help with i the fuel pump should only stay on, with the vehicle not running, for the time you specified. That seems perfectly normal. Put all fuel lines back together and check the fuel pressure at the schrader valve.

Vehicle seems to not be getting enough gas because it chokes up when u accelerate and dies when you put it in gear

it could be the pickup screen in the tank is clogged from dirt in the tank being stirred up when you ran it dry then put gas in you will have to drop the tank to look at it or dirt could have made it to your injectors or throttle body

Run out of petrol, put petrol in wouldnt start, put jump leads on still not start, fuel dont seem to be goin through, is there a cut off switch, its a rover 25 il

The first thing you might want to check is to see if the fuel pump is still working. Running out of fuel is not a good thing especially with the in tank fuel pumps they tend to burn out when you run out of fuel.

Transmission? fuel pump?? please help

Hi mightmike,
Have you tried changing your fuel filter,if so and it didn't help much-there's two fuel pump on the '90 240.ones under the car just about under rear passenger seat drivers-side(it's the rounder of the 2 that's there & has wires to it).the second is in the fuel tank.
Also check your fuses there's a fuse for both pumps(read the cover for fuse box(by the hood release lever.)Hopefully that will help you fix the problem. How's your air filter?spark plugs etc.(good tune-up does wonders!!!)
peace be with you yankeecatter
