Audi a4 alt motor sounds like running on 3 cylinders

Robert your going have to check the oil pressure the oil pumps on these engines tend to let go. What happens the key way that drives the gear strips and at low rpms it doesn't pump oil to the top of the motor but when you rev it the gear spins a little faster that's why it makes less noise you will have to replace the oil pump. As for the missing the hydrolic lifters are no working properly because of the low oil pressure.

Oil backing up through the hole where the old dipstick goes. some kind of pressure problem

all engines burn oil, ALL!
and if you dive faster, it burns more. (rate)
you did not state the rate, here in USA we do
quarts per mile (liters are same )
1 qt/ 3000 miles is norm.
but if you dont service a vehicle , for sure every 60miles.
100km. the PCV valve will clog and the crankcase will go over
pressure, and the car will leak and burn more oil.
the dip stick hole must **** not blow.
if it dont **** , running, the PCV is DEAD !
(1960 to present same deal)

I have a 1999 Dodge Avenger V6 and the vehicle stopped running yesterday about 2-21/2 blocks from my house. When attempt to restart would not start, tried starting and sounded like it was going to a couple...

Jenifer, it sounds like the oil lines from the oil pump are clogged or the pump itself is defective. Please do not run the engine until you get it checked out. If the oil pump in the bottom pan is not pushing oil to the top of the engine the valves and cams are not being lubricated and will burn up...Bue, Bye engine!

Burning rubber smell whilst going up hill

This sounds like an oil leak. Look for leaks at valve covers, and other areas above the exhaust. It often is the burning off of this small volume of oil, that makes the smell like you describe. Inspect the whole exhaust...Something is melting, somewhere.

Loss of power. Won't go faster than 80 k's/hr. Rev's fine and turbo is sucking air from outside fine. Motor has only done 150000 kms incl. the turbo. Problem started all of a sudden.

Seems like you getting Safe mode.Meaning that the cars computer (ECU) has detected a fault from one of your sensors.Try disconnecting the plug to your MAF air flow sensor. If car is ok,then its the MAF.
But still have the car diagnosed ..and its under warranty anyway.

I have a 2006 Chevy silverado.when I step on the gas my oil reaches 80psi,why is that

Your oil pump is driven by the camshaft. When you step down on the gas, the engine (and of course the cam) turns faster, turning the pump faster, therefore making higher oil pressure. 80psi is good but a bit on the high side (depends on actual RPM though) You will always see a higher pressure on start up especially in cold weather. Most times it will drop a bit after the oil warms up. Most oil filters (good ones) have a burst capacity of about 120psi so I wouldn't worry about it.
If you run a synthetic oil you may see slightly lower pressure but will not loose any wear protection. Additionally the synthetics tend to keep oil passages cleaner and will gently remove any restrictions that formed due to gunk buildup.

My 03 trailblazer just had oil and oil filter changed light still on and still has lack of power and makes rough sound when acclerating more rpms put in it faster noise gets

Oil light still on? means no oil pressure! If motor is tap , tap , tapping , Your gonna burn up your motor.May be oil pump, not going to like that bill.

either bad head gaskets, oil pump is bad, start with simple things change oil & filter start car listen to see if you have an air leak around intake and or heads hook an oil compression tester up and see if oil is pumping properly if not could be a faulty oil pump
