I assume you have a 5.4 liter?

Follow the throttle cable to the throttle body. Look on the opposite side of the throttle body from where the cable attaches. Thats the throttle position sensor.

I am trying to locate the fuse box for the cigarette lighter in my 2006 f150 ford truck.


2006 doesn't have anything called a cig liter fuse. it is a "Auxiliary Power point" fuse. It is located under the hood. If you don't have a owners manual download one from Ford it is free. The fuse will be at least 15A

Temp switch - Under hood, center, upper engine area, front of intake manifold, driver side of distributor, mounted in engine block,
Coolant temp sensor - Under hood, center, front engine area, passenger side of distributor, mounted in intake manifold,
There is no water sensor

2006 ford f150 xlt blower motor resistor location


You can access it on the right side under the dash. Below is the best picture I could find. I hope this helps and good luck.

I am looking to locate heater fan resistor plug under neath hood heater fan is not working


The blower motor resistor is in the blower itself.

Here are some pictures to help you locate it. These are taken looking under the glove box

The blower motor resistor is to the left of the pigtail shown in the picture. Check the end of that wiring harness also, it could be damaged as well

it either should be on the passenger side under the hood on the fire wall or along the fender under the hood.
