Question about 2000 Chrysler Concorde
Missfire cylinders 2&4 & all around
First I suggest check and see what the plugs look like. Also see if there is a spark at both bad cylinders.

SOURCE: The car cranks but won't start
Ok, check the following below--
1. Check the Ignition control Module for its operational value. it may be damaged.
2. Check the coils.
3. Check the plugs and wires.
4. Check the ECM/PCM/ECU(All represent the same device that is commonly known as the engine control computer)
Check these areas thoroughly for faults. I would also advise to replace the fuel filter and fuel pump as well.

yes they are the same transmission outside and have the same disignation of 42LE, but they may be different gear ratio's, they have tags on them that can id the internal differences, the 300 uses a 3.5 liter, which is not avail in the Conord
