Question about 2002 Ford Explorer
I have a 2002 explorer V6, the service engine light was on and i had a shake when idling, I changed out the coil pack and that made the service engine light go off and the shake went away for a couple days. The service engine light came back on and i the idle shake returned. Then the other day I was drving (about 70 mph) and the car suddenly throttled down and slowed to 55 then continued to decrease in speed to about 20 mph. Then no matter how had i hit the gas it won't go past 15-20 mph. When i am in park or nuetral and try to rev the engine it revs to aout 2300 rpms and stops. I havent changed the spark plugs in a while i am hoping its that simple but fear it may not be. Any one know what else it could be?????
Bad intake not enough air to the cylinders, spark plugs could be a prob, or ur car is running to lean...i hate a similar prob with it shakeing when idleing but i just tap the gas and it stops
