SOURCE: Need to change hanger bearing on 2006 model toyota

You have to remove the driveshaft (Both halves) then let a pro replace the bearing itself
reinstall and that's all there is to it

Where is the starter located 2006 toyota tundra 4.7 v8

the easiest way to locate it , follow the positive battery cable down to it, they are a bear to replace,, last thing I saw on them was you had to remove windshield wiper arms and all kinds of stuff to get to them heres what a guy listed on his 2006 If your Tundra has a 4.7 L v8 then be prepared for a long job. The starter is under the intake manifold and takes about 4 hours to take the intake manifold, fuel injection and some cooling parts off just to get to the starter. It is not impossible and I did it and save about 600.00 in mechanics fees
