Question about 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
I have tried using graphite in the lock but it still won't turn when I put in the key. Any suggestions?

This happened to to me with my ranger. I went and bought in ignition and a junk yard and no problems after that. That way your not out of a lot of money.

Your ignition is bad, or your key might be worn out if you have more then one you might try that. Other wise you will have to replace the ignition switch.

there should b a vacume module on the passenge side of the axle housing. check to see if you have vacume to and from that module when 4x4 is engaged if you have vacume coming out of it check it at wheel bearing. if you have vacume there the problem is the o ring by the lockers.
