I'm afraid not. The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) or airbag system has a propritrary computer system for it. You will need to take to a dealer or a Bosch service center for troubleshooting. I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but this thing could save your life. Do you really want to mess with it.

Why is srs light staying on ?

Because the system has a fault. Have it scanned for the fault codes.

How do I fix the SRS light... The car has been sitting for a few year and only started up each month , now the SRS light is not working

The supplemental restraint system (SRS) warning light is most commonly known as the airbag system light. This is a computer controlled system .
When the vehicle is first started, the SRS light should come on for 1 to 5 seconds while the system goes through a self-test sequence. If the light goes out, then the system is ready. If the light stays on, there is a fault somewhere in the SRS system.
if the light won't come on at all, the coputer system needs to be checked out.

Srs light stays on

There is a malfunction in your Supplemental Resraint System (SRS). You need to scan your SRS control module to retrieve fault codes and find out why the light is staying on.

What is the SRS light? I have 1996 honda accord

the SRS stands for Supplemental Restraint System. Most people call it the air bags but the SRS system includes all of the sensors and control units for air bags, seat belt pre-tensioners and passenger detection systems on cars that are equiped with them

each time you start the car up the SRS control unit will do a self-test of the system to make sure all of the sensors are working properly. The SRS light will stay on while that test is conducted. If all is well and everything passes the on-board test the light will go out in about 7 seconds. If something is wrong the light will stay on.

whenever a failure is detected for any reason, the SRS light is turned on and the system is shut off. The air bags will not be deployed when the SRS light is on.

They call it a Supplemental Restraint System because your seat belts are your primary restraint system.

hope that answers your question

As for the rear door window mechanism, you must remove the door trim pad and you will see the mechanism with its electrical motor etc, just undo the bolts and remove it.
Hope this helps

SRS LIGHT WORKING ALWAYS ,WHT IS THE PRBLEM I CHECKED THE FUSE ITS OK

the srs light can come on for a multitude of reasons, you have an issue with your airbaig system and it would need to be checked out with a scan tool first to pull a code, then that should start leading you in the right direction.
