Question about 1981 Ford F 150
I would like to get this truck going tonight so any help would be greatly apperciated. I have a 1979 ford f-150 that will not start. You turn the key and the solenoid just clicks. nothing else happens. i have put a new ignition in, new control module, new soleniod, new battery, rebuilt the starter, checked all the grounds, checked the linkage to the tranny, tried starting it in neutral. nothing is working. also engine is not locked up as when i take jumper cables and hook it directly to the starter the truck roars to life. any help would be great thanks
Change your neutral safety switch and then your truck will fire right up
