01 boxster rumbling from clutch when not engaged....only when hot

Enlighten me.

    When my clutch gets warmed up it makes a low chatter when it's in the up postion. Noise goes away when clutch is depressed. Noise comes from under engine area

This is caused by the clutch release bearing. Needs to be replaced before to late.

Arcondition blows hot air, freon in the blue and clutch on compressor engage


Make sure your blend door is closing all the way and that the actuator actually works.

rumbling can mean a whole bunch of things,, my guess would be that your hearing a throw out bearing going out , thats the part that allows the clutch plate and disc to come together to let the car engage, if it goes out completely ,, the clutch could be in gear and not able to release,

There is no difference of the clutch operation unless your new Porsche has a sport clutch kit.
Check into it.If not you will propably beed to replace the clutch

Problem engaging 3rd gear from 2nd or 4th (crunching). Boxster 987 2005 13k mileage


It's possible that you need to have the clutch adjusted or replaced, could also mean that the solenoid is going bad.

Reverse gear on 1988 Chevy C1500 automatic transmission


It has a bad Low/Reverse Clutch or a bad Reverse Input Clutch, Either way it will need rebuilt to fix.
