Pump for ABS gone om my 2009jazz after only 20.000 miles not normal?

it could be it depends on the driver, hard breaking wears them out quicker the valves wear out, but the other side it could just be the electronic model that tells the abs these can be changed without the hole abs being removed. these do fail if you have long journeys.

Recently had a front wheel collapse onmy s type jaguar ive had it fixed but the DSC light is on and ABS is coming on under breaking on drivers side front wheel any ideas

the jaguar front wheel bearing comes complete with a abs sensor and bearing cover if someone has removed the cover it sounds like the air gap between sensor and the reluctor ring is to great or has someone renewed just bearing and not the hub unit like you are ment to do? have a good look at the rear of the bearing cover.

On start up my Galant VR4 1997 has faulty breaking driving forward, once we go over 60kph the tcl and abs lights will shine and allow us to use the brakes

your abs sensor isn't working. one of or both of the front wheel bearings(hub) is worn. if you want pull out the abs fuse and your brakes will work fine but you wont have abs. eventually you will need to change the front hubs

1996 chevy cavalier abs breaking system front and rear replacement

With enough time and money you can make a front wheel drive car into a rear wheel drive car. You would have to replace the transmission and axles and it could cost well over $10,000.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My 2000 isuzu trooper abs light is on. the scanner at autozone won't read it. any ideas

When mine came on it was the main computer system for the antilock breaking system - very expensive to fix. Needed the main componet that sensored the breaks & fluid to the breaking syserm - cost 2800.00 for the part alone then the labor on top of that.

1998 Dodge Caravan New brakes. Front Axel removed to get to power steering pump to remove it. Got van back brakes felt strange had to hit them hard car pulled infront of me. ABS light came on. brakes...

Bad brake master cylinder could cause this, It will start leaking internally and not build up pressure. Will happen just do to age, will need to replace it and bleed brake system.

The Trac off light and the Abs light come on and stay on for a while. Then a you can hear a noise now and again. The light will turn off but then it comes on again. This is a 2001 Chevrolet Impala

either a bad front wheel bearing assembly (has speed sensor inside) or the wiring harness to it at the a arm. repair shop can tell u what side the abs records the codes it sets. then u can decide if u wanna fix it urself or not.btw that noise is the abs motor turning on/activating because the abs computer is confused by the fact its getting a bunk signal from one of the speed sensors(almost always in the front)

When breaking the abs goes off when you get down to about 5miles

rust build up between your wheel speed sensor and knuckle in 1 or both of your front hubs likely causing vehicle to think lockup has occured at low speeds. replace your faulty wheel speed sensor/s. monitor with scan tool that shows individual wheel speed of front sensors and replace the 1 that does not read the same as the other 2

97 GMC Sierra P/U Front left disc brake locks

The flex hose to that caliper has deteriorated and collapsed. You need to change both front flex hoes immediately! Once the hoses get to this stage they can blow under heavy braking and leave you with no brakes.
