You first have to remove the transmission, then remove the pressure plate and clutch disc from the flywheel. the pilot bearing in in the center of the flywheel it can be removed by packing the hole with grease then take a piece of round stock that is slightly smaller than the hole and giving it a quick sharp blow with a hammer this should force the pilot bearing out then wipe out the grease and install the new pilot bearing

SOURCE: replace rear axel bearing on 4x4 5.3 Litre gas engine

Loosen differential cover and let oil drain. Remove cover, remove U lock from axel. Pull axel out. Remove bearing seal then bearing. Install new bearing, seal and reinstall axel. Reinstall U lock and new cover gasket. Fill with 75-90wt gear oil. Now I know that sound pretty straight forward. But there are some things to remember. The U lock can be difficult to remove sometimes. The most important thing is the seal, you will need to make sure it gets seated correctly and not torn when installing axel.

SOURCE: 1997 GMC Sierra Ignition Switch Replacement

take off the cover on the top and bottom of the steering column just behind the wheel. pop the tilt lever out simply just by grabbing it and give it a good tug. then once you have the new switch and you get in there your going to need an inverted torx socket to remove the small bolts that hold the switch to the column. do not move the gear on the new switch make sure it lines up exactly as the old one did!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive replaced a stock spindle with a drop spindle on my 95 gmc sierra and i can't seem to get the rotor on the spindle far enough to put the spindle castle nut on?

just remove the spindle as it slows the speed of your engine thus making it to consume a lot of fuel over a short distance

How do I remove and replace the clutch?

Many things are involved in replacing a clutch. If it it 4 WD, you will have to remove the drive shafts, transfer case and the trans. If not, then just the drive shaft and trans. You will/may have to remove the starter. Disconnect the battery first. Don't forget the shifter. I'm not sure but I believe the belhousing may be seperate, older GM vehicles were, you will have to remove that as well. Then remove the clutch pressure plate which is usually held to the fly wheel by 6 to 8 bolts. And next the clutch plate. If the flywheel is really scored you should have it resurfaced and don't forget to torque the bolts when re-installing it. Reassemble in the reverse order. Having a clutch pilot bearing alignment tool is also very helpful when installing the clutch and pressure plate as it helps putting the trans back into location much easier. You should also replace the throw out bearing and pilot bearing in the crank shaft. If the clutch is hyd, don't forget to bleed it. Hope this helps and good luck!

95 gmc sierra k1500 4x4 5spd manual noise

the leak is probably a separate issue from the noise. is the leak very bad? can you tell if it's engine oil or transmission lube/fluid? most likely the rear main bearing seal needs replacing. the noise is most likely the clutch release bearing. you should replace all components of the clutch assembly which include; clutch plate, pressure plate, release bearing and piolot bearing. also have the fly wheel resurfaced. while the trans is out, you can check the rear main seal and the trans input shaft seal and replace accordingly.

Front dif bearing replacement

If it is the pilot shaft bearing then you will need to have a good impact wrench to remove the jamb nut. The ring gear assembly has to be removed, becareful not to lose the shims on both sides and keep them in order for each side. The inner bearing on the shaft is a pressed bearing so without proper tools these bearings are hard to remove.
