Same thing happened to me, I had it computer analyzed and it turned out to be bad injector # 3, cost about $300 replaced.

check with your local Toyota dealer in the parts department and make sure you give them the liter of both engines and they can give you the correct answer and you can also try autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you

Running on a stand is not the same as running under power...In the water, you are essentially running on a dynomometer (dyno is a big water brake) If you can prove that the module isn't putting in enough advance, it would be doing the same thing that I mentioned with the damper, only for a different reason. So...you're likely on the right track. (rather have a points setup out on the water...anything goes wrong, you fix it without a tow!!!!)
