Question about Cars & Trucks
Can't & new one may whine some
I would flush the system
Remove the return hose at pump from cooler & put into
a bottle under truck. need a larger hose out of bottle for
Remove the injector fuses & crank engine
Refill with Merc V or whatever is to be in there,
then add International Lubricants Lubgard Additive
for P/S Not the yellow & purple one-- that is for hondas
No guarantee here
The lower ball joints-- while not the whining--- tend to go
on those .
You don't want any stiffness in the steering

2008 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Cab (without moon roof or rails): How to replace the map light bulbs. First, you'll need a "trim pad remover." It is a tool with a screwdriver handle and the metal part has a 'smooth' forked tongue (see Snap-on Stock#: A177A for picture). Go to the center counsel and "gingerly" work around he counsel and pull down at the same time. The counsil is held in by six snap in tongs. It should remove pretty easily. once down, you'll see where the bulbs are. Unscrew and replace. Now, just line up the tongs and gently bump or hit the pressure points (where the tongs are) and it should snap into place. It should take no more than five minutes, tops.

Did you check for power at the switches. Are you sure the fuses are ok. Sometimes the wires break because of opening the door. You will have to inspect the harness and maybe have to remove the door panel. Most likely its a driver door wiring issue or the fuse.

You would have to get the same modle cab, frames are the backbone of a vehicle, frames stay the same longer than body parts. not a ford man but have done some repair down to the frame with a chevy luv 79 frame and 80 cab . look for the options that you dont have any less, buttons and switches can change ok
