Question about 2001 Dodge Intrepid
Your heater core may be blocked and a back flush would be required. You may also have air in the cooling system that needs to be burped out. this may take several attempts. You need to loosen the bleeder screw located by the thermostate housing. This will allow the air to escape the hose. It is best to attach a 1/4' diameter clear hose to bleeder and run into empty bucket. while you are filling overflow/reservoir watch the hose. once coolant runs thru hose free of air, tighten bleeder screw. repeat as necessary until all air is out of system.

the easiest way is going to first be to remove the serpentine belt which requires you to loosen the nut on the end of the idler pulley just above the alternator, then behind the pulley is a bolt with a 13mm head on it that you will want to loosen after the pulley is loose to relieve tension off the belt. Remove the belt. Next make sure you remove the battery cables to ensure you dont fry yourself to the car when unhooking the electrical connections from the alternator, your battery is located on the passenger side, down behind and underneath the headlight. Then go under the car and remove the black plastic clips that hold the splash shield up under the bumper. After this the alternator becomes as accesible as it can be, remove it from the bottom. The valve controlling the flow of coolant to the heater is stuck shut - either the valve itself or the cables controlling it are faulty. You will have to check which yourself.

there should be 3 wires. The all black one is the ground, the black wire with the colored line is the positive, and the other is the negative

Most likely a thermostat issue but it could need a back flush of the radiator system or a problem with the oil circulation. Check your radiator level, replace the Thermostat and make sure your oil is at the proper level. Also, make sure your fans are working correctly. When the motor is off see if the fan moves freely. That will tell you if the clutch is engaging correctly when the vehicle is moving. it it isn't then you are actually putting a larger strain on your motor when driving than the cooling system was designed to cool.

The first step is turning the car off. Then before turning the key back on, push and hold the Eject button then turn the ignition on. If the CD fails to eject then you can use a old CD and try to insert it into the CD Player, just as it try's to take your second CD pull it out and hit the Eject button again. This will usually get a Dodge CD player to Eject.
If this fails then the CD player must be removed and a manual eject can be performed.
