Your fuse box under the hood should have two layers you have the top set of fuses right when you open the protecter cover then you have to loosen some bolts and then you can pick up the whole unit it should be under there. I hope this helps you

Heater on my envoy only works on 3-4 setting, could that be the switch.

Thanks for the opportunity to let me help. The blower control switch in your vehicle also uses a blower relay. This relay is generally located on the firewall on the passenger side near the heater fan. You can also look in you vehicle owners manual for the location of the blower relay, it may be also be located in the fuse and relay box under the hood. Generally speaking if the highest setting doesn't work on a GM vehicle it is a high blower Relay. This item is not expensive and can be purchased at most all you local Auto parts stores. If you have a Napa, Orielly's, or AutoZone these stores will also likely help you in the location if you are unable to locate this relay. Here is a general picturepepsiman1967.jpg The installation of this relay is either to remove from the fuse box, or if located near the heater fan housing then you will need to remove the mounting screws, remove the wiring clip, then reverse to install. I hope that this has helped you. D.R. Wilkins

Where is the fuel pump relay located in a 1997 chevy blazer 4-dr.

In the glove box behind a plastic panel. There are 3 relays in there. The fuel pump is the one closest to the drivers side.

Where is the power window relay located in 1997 ford explorer?

There is a relay in the instrument panel relay module #4 for the windows, It's underneath the dash on the drivers side. Position yourself in such a way that you can see directly up underneath the dash - a flashlight would probably be helpful as well. There's a black plastic box up in there that contains the relays. It's a little to the right of where the steering wheel is located. It's up in there a little ways too - from the bottom of the plastic panel below the steering wheel up to where the relay box is, it's probably a good 6 to 12 inches. The box has a tab on one end - press the tab in, or pull it, I don't remember - and the top of the box will come off to expose the relays inside it. The relay for the accessory delay and windows is the larger square relay. You can purchase a replacement one from NAPA for somewhere between 5 and 10 dollars I believe.
There is another thing you should look in to also if the relay's are ok. The power windows, along with the moonroof and Torque On Demand relay, are on the Accy Delay Relay. The Accy Delay Relay is fed power by the Battery Saver Relay and controlled by Generic Electronic Module (GEM).
On a 97 Ex the GEM provides the ground to the voltage coming from the window switches, Pin 3 grounds the window down tan/light blue wire & pin 4 grounds window up on white/black. If you can verify that you have voltage on these wires the Gem module is the culprit. On the 97 there are 4 of these idiot/PITA GEM modules behind the center of the dash & about midway up in the dash. On a 97 the one you would want has 18 pins & 2 of the wires going to it would of course be the tan/light blue & white/black & the GEM might be marked C283. Maybe you could pull the GEM out & have it tested by your friendly neighborhood Ford dealer, or better yet by an auto electric shop.

Good luck and hope this helps, if you need more help on to checking the GEM your self let me know.

1995 Ford Explorer heater/ac not working -

that cliking you hear is most likely the heater relay. but i don't think thats it, i would be checking to see if there is a resister, for the blower motor, it should be someware around the blower motor along with the relay in the same place. it will be on the heater box held in with a couple of screws, and a plug going to it with 4 or 5 wires.when they go bad, blower may only work on one or two speeds or not at all.
