It is located under the alternator. If you are looking down at the engine, it is to the far left. If you are under the car it is to the far right before the oil pan.

Service and Repair Notes HOOD LATCH CABLE REPLACEMENT Remove the following items: Hood release handle. Radiator guard. Hood latch. Wheel guard. Using a clip remover, detach the clips from the body, then remove the hood latch cable (A) from the vehicle. NOTE: Take care not to bend the cable. Installation is the reverse of removal. NOTE: Make sure the hood latch cable is connected properly. Replace any damaged clips.

you will see 5 relay
2 to the left & 1 in the middle & 2 to the right

The one in the middle is the fuel pump relay

i assume you mean the headlight flasher.....pull the dip/main beam lever towards you.if it dont work then replace the relay....

Is your signal lights on, but no blinker? if yes, that means your flasher relay burned out. If there is no lights at all, replace your signal light bulbs.ok

Where will I find my 2002 elantra flasher? I have to replace it and do not even now what it looks like


it doesnt use a convential flasher, it uses a relay, only availible at the dealer , its not easy to reconize but ill try, its located in the back side of the fuse- relay box driverside,its the longer of the black relays,if you remove the coinbox, left of the steering wheel you can see the front side of the fuse box, again ,its not easy....

this sound like your flasher unit/relay is faulty as both indicators and 4 way hazard lights are not working chech your h/book for location or look under neath the fuse/relay box cover ?there is usually a diagram of location of fuses//relay

Turn signals


the flasher relay is located on the back of the fuse box in the pass compartment it is in the bottom row of relays
