Question about Cars & Trucks
The cylinder bolts,pretighten all bolts to 30ftlbs and the used an angle
torque wrench and torque to 90degrees and then to 90degrees again
the main bearings torque to 48 ftlbs and an additional 90 degrees,the rod bearings are tighten to 22ftlbs and an additional 90 degrees.

hi to tighten you have to do it in 4 stages as follows
1st stage 40nm leave 5 mins 2nd stage 60nm leave 5 mins 3rd stage 90 degrees leave 10 mins 4th stage 90 degrees then you are done i will try put order on here i hope this works as follows
10 4 2 6 8 front of engine back of engine 7 5 1 3 9
in that order hope this helps

According to a famous car manual it says to 'tighten by hand DO NOT use any tools', If in doubt ask a sturdy friend to apply a little more force.
