Our lawn tractor was put away for the winter and the key has disappeared. Can we get a replacement?

Most lawn tractor keys are the same,as most lawn tractors are made by only a couple of manufacturers (MTD etc) with different names (decals) applied. Your dealer or any small engine dealer should have replacement keys available. He may sell you a new switch with keys which would be easy to install.

Tractor hasn't been ran for 2-3 months. It started up for a few seconds then shut off and won't start back up. It is 10 degrees out.

HOW DO I FEED 12 VOLTS TO MY TRUNK RELEASE

You can use any 12 volt battery, from a motorcyle, lawn tractor and even the car itself CAREFULLY using jumper cables. Connect the cables to the battery, one needs to grounded to the Chassis and the other you touch to the wire going to the switch. Good luck. Lee
