Question about 2001 Pontiac Aztek
Brought to me as an over heat changed Tstat no better changed water pump now as long as you run 2000 or more every thing works good anything lower and no heat the eng. stays cool but no heat have bled both bleaders many times and also with the front raised.
Check the thermostat it should stay closed till the coolant is at operation temp, insert a gauge in the top of the radiator and check temp there in case other gauge is faulty.

Defective thermostat probaly staying open, Or a blockage in the cooling system , Flush out the whole ststem, End don,t have the front of the vehicle raise up,
