I have a 2000 buick lesabre custom that has oil mixing into the coolant. i recently changed my oil and found the coolant was discolourd, i think it is the oil mixing into the coolant, i have good power the oil is at a regular level. The vehicle starts great and runs even, i was told my head gasket is gone and with 275000 k on it is it worth paying to fix.

My 1994 Buick Lesabre was spewing white smoke from the tail pipe . I took the heads off and had them tested. No cracks -then had them planned down flat and a mechanic rebuilt and replaced using new bolts...

Classic signs of coolant in the oil and since heads were repaired and sealed, it could be a cracked block.
Coolant is mixed in oil and coolant impedes lubrication of engine thus hard to turn over and start.
One last hope is to drain crank case, refill with fresh oil and new filter.
Add Barr's leak "copper" )(looks like liquid copper and costs about $10) sealant to coolant fluid. Run the engine a few times to full warm up, each time observing for tell-tale white smoke from exhaust. Check dipstick level between each cycle.
If problem subsides, go buy a lottery ticket as you're very lucky. If not, a new engine or short block is on the menu.

Good Luck

2000 Buick Lesabre custom liscense plate bulb

kind of tricky, took me an hour to get it figured out, but you got to opend the trunk and take out the 10 or so 10mm nuts sticking out of the backside of the lid, then the whole solid piece where the lights are on the back will slide off, then you can change the bulbs above the license plate and put it all back together
