No its internal meaning that its in the bell housing. The bell housing is bolted to the gearbox to hous the clutch befor being bolted to the engine. It has no seal on it.So when your slave cylinder leaks,The fluid drips from the bell housing. And the only way to get at it is to remove the gearbox.

SOURCE: I bought a saturn vue with a Honda v6. I can't

Hey Guru???
What'd you do rank yourself a guru? Cause you sure don't KNOW what you're talking about.
Honda V6 3.5 engine is in the 2004-2007 Saturn Vues with 6 cylinder engines. It is the ONLY V6 offered. The old version was from Opel.
The trans dip stick is on the right side of the engine while the oil stick is front left.

Ford f150, drive shaft from transfer box to cv axle slides out, what is supposed to hold this in place, front passenger side, 4wd 1999.

It is held in place by an internal snap ring. It sounds like you may have a worn transmission case where the snap ring snaps in. Other issue like suspension modifications can cause thwe axles to pull out as well.

Do you have to remove the snap ring on 1994 saturn sl 2 to get axel out

The left axle is a little tricky I use a crow bar and tuck the curved end in behind the cup of the axle then look for a good sturdy position on the transmission and do a quick snap on the crowbar and the axle pops out. Be ready with an oil pan if you did not drain the transmission oil as it will come out. Also Saturn transmissions get serviced with dexron III even the manual transmissions. When reinstalling the new axle place the transmission end in first and get the snap ring to hold before re-assembling the rest of it. Is best to insert the end of the axle into the transmission, then hold the axle straight while pushing inward on the axle until you feel the cv joint bottom out inside the cup then with a dead blow hammer, strike the outer end of the cv joint and you should be able to feel the inner snap into place. To make sure that it is reach in and grab the inner axle you should not be able to pull it back out by hand. If you try to hammer on the inner cv joint during installation you take the chance of damaging the boot. And causing premature failure of the inner axle cv joint. Hope this helps.

How do i remove male spline from cv axle after i removed cv axle from transmission

It will come out. You can either try to use a slide hammer to bang it out or try to pry it backwards. They are designed to lock in so they can't slide out while driving. Just keep pulling on it. It will eventually come out. I am normally a lot more detailed and careful and try not to use a lot of force but sometimes. You just have to get a BIGGER hammer. Ha. Hope this helps.

Need help removing right side cv axle on 94 toyota

Assuming you have the spindle off - you need a pry bar between the inner mount and the transaxle. Give it a bit of a snap as it is held in with a lock ring around the spline. Note the gap - when replacing it - pop it in fairly well till you feel the snap ring lock back into position. If you are replacing it - inspect the new one - the lock ring should already be installed.

How do i get the spline out of the passenger side half shaft the piece that plugs into the transmission

this axle is held into the transmission by a circular round internal retaining clip called a "CIR" clip, they can be very difficult to remove and I answer this question often.
Here is how you get the axle out, u must pull straight out on the axle in a quick snapping motion, a large Cresent adjustable wrench used as a slide hammer helps, also u can hit the back of the CV joint with a 2 pound brass faced hammer, but remember you must pull the axle straight out, it will not relase if the angle is more than a few degress's off center, even as a professional having done dozens of these the challenge is the same and very few are easy to get out, be patient and follow my instructions it will snap out.

Any help on replacing the drivers side cv joint

remove the large nut on the end of the axle, unbolt the strut from (tie it out of the way with bailing wire, avail from any hardware store) the steering knuckle, pull the steering knuckle out of the way while pushing the axle stub inward and out of the knuckle, once the axle is free of the steering knuckle the axle just snaps out of the transmission, this can really be a bear, but it does just snap in and out, it uses what is called an internal snap ring to retain it into the transmission, u might also want to replace the axle seal as it most likely will suffer damage when u pull the axle out.

Remove the brake caliper and then remove the brake rotor, remove the large axle nut on the end, undo the lower bolt from the strut/spring assy and swing the assy out of the way as you pull the splined axle out of the the brake rotor hub, once the axle is free with a swift **** pull the axle from the transmission, it will most likely be a bitc.. to get out of the trans, but keep jerking until the internal snap-ring releases.

Installing a cv joint axle on the driver front

The trans side of the axle has a round spring clip on the drive splines it just snaps in and out of the transmission, they can be very difficult to remove, esp. the first time they are taken out, takes allot of brute strength. I would suggest you push the axle in, it will move inboard a little, then try to pull back in a snapping motion, another thing the axle need to be in as straight a line as possible.
