It could literally be several things. Have you been having clutch problems lately? Normally clutches show signs before going out, but there is always other things that can go wrong. Depending on weather or not the clutch system is cable or hydraulic. Hydraulic clutch system works the same as hydraulic brakes. Their is a master cylinder that pumps fluid pressure to a device. In the clutch though it pushes a metal rod into the slave cylinder to release the clutch disc from the flywheel. The easy way to think about a clutch system say most people can understand it is. Clutch works off friction. If you have friction you can go, if you don't have friction well your not going very fast or far. An the clutch disc is lot a huge brake pad but instead of stopping you, it's friction cause you to link up to the engine flywheel and go. If you know how something actually works then you can probably self diagnos the problem but to help you here is a list of things it could be. Clutch pedal cable to transmission broken or bad, slave cylinder, throw out bearing, clutch master cylinder (if equipped with hydraulic clutch), pressure plate, or clutch disc. But the only true way to find out is to remove the trans and see for yourself. Hope this helps.

My breakes dont work till they are almost to the floor

Try pumping the brake pedel. If the pedel travel comes up, the rear brakes need to be adjusted. If the pedel does not come up, it could be a bad master cylinder or a broken brake line.

I need to replace the throttle cable. The car will not accelerate because the connection is frayed.

THIS IS NOT HARD TO DO AND INEXPENSIVE TO YOU DON;T REALLY NEED TOOLS THE CABLE IS ABOUT 20 $LOOK AT WHERE IT HOCKS TO THE THROTTLE BODY TURN THROTLE TO OPEN PISITION SO THE CABLE HAS LOTS OF SLACK AND SLIDE IT OUT THE SIDE NEXT REMOVE GROMUET WHERE CABLE GOS THROUGH LOWER FIRE WALL A LITTLE WD 40 HELPS JUST FOLLOW THE CABLE THEN YOU NEED TO OPEN DRIVERS DOOR AND LOOK AT THE GAS PEDEL IT HOOKS IN A SIMULAIR WAY THERE IS LOTS OF SLACK REINSTALL IN OPPISITE ORDER YOU NEED TO FIX THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE YOUR GAS PEDEL CAN STICK IF IT DOSE PUT YOUR FOOT UNDER GAS PEDEL PULL BACK

Brake pedel gos to floor after bleeding

Be sure to follow the proper steps to bleed the brakes. Start with a full master cylinder. Have someone in the car pump the brake pedal 3 times and hold it down while you loosen the bleed screw to let the air out. The pedal will go to the floor and must be held down until you tighten the fitting back up. If the brake pedal is let up before you tighten the fitting, it will draw air back into the system. You may have to do this procedure several times on each wheel to get the air out of all 4 lines. Be sure not to let the master cylinder run out of fluid while you are bleeding the lines.

We just bought a 2000 Suzuki esteem, the problem is whenever we start the car, it becomes very difficult to shift between gears when the car is idle, but when the car is on the freeway, shifting works...

The cluch not fully disingaging , ( carpet under the pedel, pedel bent , bushing worn out of pedal, low on fluild in clutch master ( brake fluid ) and bad cluch master or slave or air in system. A damaged clutch will drag too. If it shifts OK with the car shut off standing still trans lube is likly OK too. If it has a clutch cable it may need to be adjusted pull up on the clutch pedal as high as it can go then pust down with your hand it should only go down an inch before it gets harder to pust down as it openes the clutch and shoul continue to go down about 4 or more inches. The pedal should be as high or a little higher than the break paedal. If not the pedal height may be needing to be adjusted higher. Some slave master hydrolic sysems aren't adjusted and have to be replaced to fix lack of enought movement Clutes that are hard to pust in or get much harder as you get closer to the floor the cluch is likly to be worn out and need to be changed with a new clutch kit and resurface the flywheel. The flywheel can change to unflatand the cluch can drag. engine oil getting into the clutch though a leak in the valve cover or rear main can get on the cluch and make it drag and grab.

Started my truck this morning..it was stalling out 2-3 times.. then the cluch pedel went to the floor. pulled it back up with my foot. now it is working fine. ?

Sounds like your clutch master cylinder, or slave cylinder or actuator seals failed. Most likely the actuartor. Check the clutch lines for fluid leaks. It could probably happen again and you might not be so lucky this time.

It is a plastic clip ( about 99 cents from ford). It snaps on and keeps the arm in place.
